56 The Murder of Loretta Saunders

Halifax, Noca Scotia

This is a two-part series:

Part 1 - I tell the complete story.
Part 2 - I hand over to Nighttime Podcast who speaks with Delilah - Loretta's sister, who provides additional insights into what was happening in the background.

In 2014, 26 year old Loretta Saunders – a proud Inuk woman – was in Halifax completing her university thesis on missing and murdered indigenous women and girls. She went out to run an errand and didn’t return. What happened to her – and the resulting activism of her family – would have far-reaching effects.
